BERINGIA is a development-driven brand that draws equally from design ideation, technical innovation, and advanced fiber and fabric engineering. Close collaboration with apparel artisans on custom yarns, threads and textiles lies at the core of BERINGIA’s mission. We don’t source our fabrics; we work alongside renowned textile minds to develop the highest performing fabrics on the market.

Our ‘Masters of Bishu’ merino wool collection is custom built in the 300-year-old wool region of Aichi Prefecture, Japan, and is the first to use the circular-economy-based ‘regenerative wool’ techniques of the region.

Our new (2022) and exclusive ‘Täsmä’ outerwear shell membrane was developed over the course of three years with the design team at Toray Textiles in Osaka, Japan. A new pinnacle for outdoor protection, Tasma is precision-response fabric that reponds to temperature and humidity variation, shielding up to 99.9% of precipitation while maintaining breathability and interior comfort.
